Right back down to Earth xD
On this 9th of June 2019, Week 2 of BWCL gave us our first a taste of defeat in season 48. With an excellent start to the season, it would be only fitting to have a hard cw to expose some of our weaknesses. In the end, not everything was in fact sour. We had a chance to send out a new member to face the lions, Chojin. Skabb also stepped up to play a set, after a small absence from this league. Thank you both immensly for your devotion and display of fairplay <3 .
-I wasn't fit to play. I-net connection was failing in game, also my time was short has I had family over at my summer house and wanted to spend some quality time with them. On these notes, the 2vs2 wasn't played on account of me not being available at that hour. Really sorry about it.
------------------------------
Games:
Our 1st match is Chojin vs Blue. Our newest member, showed a lot of value and skill, as he started the set, 1-0. Eventually, Blue's experience prevailed, as he overcame our Zerg player in the following two games.
Chojin[ReV] 1-2 vT´Blue
-------------------------------
With some rust to brush off, Skabb[ReV] did his best to fight against this Terran. Games were in fact short, as Diurno managed to trick Skabb in both games, exploring weak points at an early stage of the games.
Skabb[ReV] 0-2 vT´Diurno
------------------------------
Again, in this week, uNleAsh[ReV] gave us the closest set in the CW. All three games were really exciting and fun to watch. ~no spoilers~
uNleAsh[ReV] 1-2 vT´StOry
------------------------------
As expected, our spaniard protoss powerhouse, displayed some of his experience and skill to crush his Zerg opponent.
InDi[ReV] 2-0 vT'george
-------------------------------
Unfortunately the 2vs2 wasn't played. We had to give W.O.
-------------------------------
At the end we came up short, but there were many things to take of this week's CW. It was in fact a hard one to manage as a lot of our players couldn't be there to play. I've been informed that this might be the last week we have so many regular faces not showing up. So good things will come eventually, lets not take this week as an example, but as a motivator to grasp more and more experience and wins in CW's.
Final result: 4-8 (1-4)
"Victory feels better knowing what defeat is." -some guy-
Keep it up ReVians! ;D
