3. The default Channel is respectively DIV-A, DIV-B, DIV-C, and so on.
4. All matches have to be played on Speed Setting '7 — Fastest'.
5. Turn rate: 1v1 dynamic; 2v2 fixed turn rate is allowed (usually 16 is ok).
6. Game settings: 1v1 indifferent; 2v2 Top vs Bottom.
7. Replays must be saved.
8. Official casters and streamers must be allowed into the game lobby.
9. Clan League matches take place once a week; the default time is Sunday, 19:00 CET/CEST. Please mind the clock change twice a year!
10. The CW format is four 1v1 and one 2v2, all best of 3. No player may play more than one 1v1.
Clans, Leaders, Players, Line-Ups
2. Leaders maintain the roster of their clans.
2.a. outdated or wrongful rosters can be sanctioned
2.b. every name has to be connected to the B-Net ID (i.e. Roia[tQ] - Roia#2615 - co-leader).
3. A Clan can participate in the league with up to three squads in total, as long as the players are clearly assigned to one squad alone.
4. The minimum number of players per Clan is 6.5. The maximum number of players per clan is 20.
5.1: an inactive list can be used to keep the info for later, this list MUST be posted before the beginning of the season to be valid. Players on that list are not subject to transfer restrictions. Inactive players must be transferred onto the active list before they are allowed to play
6. It's the Clan Leaders' duty to ensure his players are not members of another Clan.
7. It is the Clan leader and co-leaders’ duty to check discord for pre-postponements requests or map or rule updates.
8. Players must be members of a single Clan participating in this League.
8.a. This rule is extended to Clan with teams in multiple divisions, members cannot switch divisions during the regular season, nor playoffs. (see rule 12 as well)
8.b. Players of a disbanded team can transfer to an active clan in an ongoing season.
9. Sanctionable Restrictions:
9.a. Smurfing (create fake account to hide your identity)
9.b. Shared accounts (another person playing for you)
9.c. Double Clanning (be member of multiple teams playing BWCL at the same time, captains may admin more than one team, but can only play in a single team for the season) (edited)
10. Adding and removing players during the regular season is allowed at any time.
11. New players must appear in the roster of a clan.
12. New players have to have never played in the current season for another team. If a player is signed up in a roster but has not played during the season, they can be moved to another clan while the season is ongoing. This does not apply to multiple squads of the same clan. This move will be blocked if that causes a clan to drop below the minimum amount of 6 players and/or if that player is also a captain and moving then would cause organizational problems.
13. The language of the league is English, however the admins are able to speak other languages too, and a big part of the community speaks Spanish. If you run into language issues, be patient and contact an admin or use google translate for simple sentences.
14. BWCL is a foreign league. Koreans added to teams are only allowed to play if:
a. they’re not living in Korea
b. they’re not actively training in a professional environment
c. able to speak English in an understandable manner
d. the player in question is involved in the Foreign community, that exceeds a status of “mercenary for hire”
Clan Wars
2. If a player does not show up 15 minutes after the war officially started a walk over can be claimed. Notify an admin via Discord or B-net.
3. A walk over is +1 point for the claiming team and -1 for the team causing the walk over. Two single walk overs are also only -1, the penalty is not cumulative
4. If more than two walk overs are reported, the entire Clan War is deemed a no-show. In this case the winning team gains +3 points for the individual sets (+4 in total for “winning” the clan war) and the losing team gets sanctioned -2 points
5. If a Clan gathers more than two total walk-overs (no-show games), the clan is banned from the ongoing season. Its games are set to zero. If the ban occurs during the second part of the season, only the second part is set to zero.
6. Games can be postponed to a maximum of 72 hours. If both teams miss to play out the postponed game, a penalty of -1 is added to both games. If only one side misses to play out the game, a walk-over can be claimed.
7. Leaders report the Results in the Drive. See Discord Help for a Tutorial.
8. Replays have to be saved and reported by the winning team in Discord. Failure to submit the replays after being asked can be punished with -2 points.
9. Players can only play in the playoffs if they have played at least one BO3 during the regular season. Plan accordingly. Playing in a 2v2 is also valid for 1v1 in the playoffs and vice versa.
10. As a result of rule 9, a player that is recruited after the last round of the regular season cannot play in playoff for that season.
11. You can play as any race, including random, and change race between each set. However if a disconnect occurs and you have to replay that set, you need to pick the same race as when the disconnect happened (only for that one set).
12. Admins are here to help, if a ruling is made live, follow the instructions. You can appeal against it later if you disagree but do not make the opponent wait and just play your games if the admin tells you to play.
