Hey [Rev] My name is Bjarni aka SteamMachine, I am 24 years old Terran living in Iceland. I have been playing Starcraft on and off for the past 8 years. Most often my MMR is around 1500-1600 and my apm is around 130. So far I have spent most of my Broodwar time laddering, but I am looking forward to try something more social and find practice partners to improve more. Outside of Starcraft I study in the university, enjoy hiking in summertime and work as a guide in remote regions.

Hi there, I'm Ben, 33 from Germany. I may be known as uNLeaSh[CwC] or iin.poke (and various smurfs we don't need to list here). I havn't been playing alot for quite a while now and used to mainly be a 2on2 player but am not opposed to the concept of 1on1 I do want to play more actively again and hope that my new home here will help overcome the 9-5 exhaustion I feel when I get off of work. Looking forward to getting to know you on bnet.

Heyhey, Dennis here. 21/German/Zerg Have a bit of a history with SC2 (2010-2014) but had to stop due to time constraints. I absolutely adore watching GSL, ASL, KSL, etc. and now that I have a bit more time on my hand than during BW: Remaster's launch I wanna give playing it a chance. Keep in mind that I bought BW last Friday so my overall skill is rather pitiful but hey, gotta start somewhere.
Excited to play with ya'll guys in the future. :^)

Hello! I'm Buenaventura, 30 years old from Sweden, and I play zerg at a really low MMR like 1100 or so, and I've only played since a month back perhaps - but before then I've watched brood war games from Korea since I found Klazart, Moletrap, Diggity and the sc2gg people commenting games on youtube, I watched so much since then! Then recently I took the plunge into actually buying the game, and I really enjoy it! But it's so hard! But there is no other game where I can see myself growing as a player so clearly, and there is simply no better game, so I think I will just stick with brood war for the forseeable future as my main game <3 My first brush with the BW community was in Lmaster's Beginner Starcraft discord, and also CPL discord, and since I found the community I've been playing almost exclusively practice games to prepare for my upcoming Rookie Star Leage and when it start CPL matches, and it's been really fun as said. After practicing a particular build on a particular map for the RSL and really bopping my (admittedly seeminly much weaker) opponent, it felt SO good No other competetive game gives the same sense of satisfaction! I never touched SC2 looks too bland I think! I do play Overwatch tho, to relax after the intensity that is SC, and otherwise my main interest in life is games, I play and follow lots of interesting indie games and studios. I saw the Recruit-a-Noob initative and I really liked the way [ReV] was presented and also, the time zone fits. That's one thing - since I have 2 kids and I work, I have only a quite specific time frame during which I can play games - 21.30-23.30 GMT+1 every evening, pretty consistently! I generally devote at least 1 hour of that to starcraft, generally more, and in [ReV] I'm sure I'll find practice partners here for those hours Otherwise, I value good manners and a positive non toxic athmosphere, and that seems to be the case among many here, so that's lovely. For me the social aspect of BW is really important - I dont have much social life outside work because personal reasons, so it's very nice to be in a warm community around BW. Other notable things about me: * I use linux (ArchLabs currently) and thus play Starcraft using lutris/wine (works perfectly!) and have been doing so for ages, exclusively * I work in the regional government archives as an trained archivist, and I have a computer at work, so I generally hang out in discord all day procrastinating and avoiding work * I have two sons (6 and 8 years old) who are great! * I was first a tabletop roleplaying nerd, then I was a anti fascist activist nerd during unversity, and now I've evolved to a video game father nerd Thank you for having me! I never was in a clan back in the day so I'm very excited to wear a cool clan tag in the end after all these years x)

Hey,
Excited to be part of ReV. I just joined.
General:
I'm Eagle. I'm a Terran player from the US who drifts between 1200 and 1400. APM is around 120 consistently. My macro and micro are garbage and so are my mechanics. But I know the game in and out, which helps. I follow the foreign scene and especially the Korean scene very closely, never missing a pro game.
Clan - Why?:
I want a community of people to deliberately practice with rather than always laddering.
ReV - Why?:
I'm tired of dealing with idiots and this seemed like a good place with good people.
My Starcraft-Background:
I've had the game since it came out. I've always been a Terran player. Some day I'll switch to Protoss and my MMR will go up 400 points overnight. Ok, enough shade thrown on P players. Anyway, I played Broodwar consistently from 1998 to 2005, and then sporadically for the next 10 years. Actually I came back to Broodwar in 2016, but before I had heard about the Remaster. Nevertheless I am very excited to be part of the rebirth of Broodwar through SC:R. I never played SC2 once and don't plan to. (sry)
Outside of Starcraft:
I play music, run a lot, do thru-hikes, and I teach history at university as my job. I spent half of my 20s living in Europe but now bouncing around the states.
Good to meet all of you, comrades.
Yours, Eagle

Hello I'm Etra. I'm pretty old and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I used to play Stacraft when it first came out but I only played UMS maps. Now I'm back and really into melee maps. I joined ReV because you guys seem friendly and willing to help nubs like me. Other than that, I am a full stack developer. Look forward to seeing you guys, thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm Jarkko, 28 years old male from Finland. I've been playing StarCraft since 1998, had like 7 years break after I got back to the best game ever made. I mostly play team games (2vs2, 3vs3, 4vs4). I've experienced almost every competitive servers on SC/BW. WGTour, PGTour, iCCup, representing many good teams, one to mention liquipedia.net/starcraft/Samjoc_Gaming (ex Nb., I was one of the first members on that team) for example. When I'm not playing StarCraft, I'm working as security officer, or facility services worker nowadays. My hobbies off gaming are thaiboxing/self-defence + various sports.

Hello guys, I'm Cristian Datcu, a Zerg player from Romania, I'm 32 years old and I played this game since 1998 until 2010 using the same nickname as here: Cr1stY About my "career"... I started playing in a local team called White and Blue Clan (WBC) founded by me and my best friend back then, in 1999. When I joined b.net and started to meet new people, I joined unknown Clan (uC.) created by a guy called FroZ. So... I played and leading uC. for like 7 years. In those 7 years, I was "introducing" players like Soko, MaNa, MorroW, EoNZerG, Dracull, ArTaN, etc... into the scene. Some of them were really young back then Because of work and going inactive for few months, uC. members started to leave and that was the end of the team. When I came back from inactivity, somehow, I meet Incomplete and we start talking In like 2 day's I take the .ReV tag and started to train again. Like in a week or so, Soko joined as my 2vs2 partner and we started to demonstrate that we can take our places in the 1st 1vs1 and 2vs2 lineup of ReV. After we destroyed uT) in a clan war, we, me and Soko, received a proposal to join uT)... We considered it a new challenge, playing in higher leagues and we joined. In a short time, due to some "management" issues, the team is closed. Knowing BinGBonG and training with iG. members, after leaving uT), we joined Infernal Gamers as 1vs1 players and 2vs2 team. BinG is going inactive due to some cancer problems in his family and iG.ShAdOw became the new iG. leader. We stayed in iG. until 2010 when SC2 beta came out and we are recruited by Russian team RAGE. I played SC2 until 2012 and in this time I tried to build the 1st "pro gaming" house in Romania. In 2012 we close the house, inclusively the team and I quit gaming, starting to modify cars and take place at expos in Europe. I was also the leader of Rom-B national team for some time and playing for Rom-A in rest. In present I'm working as a technical manager for a French company that owns a factory in my city, I'm still modifying (tuning) cars and taking care of my wife Installing battle.net app and finding ReV and Incomplete still here is such a nice feeling... I remember all the things I felt playing SC:BW <3 I can't be the most active player ever, but in the moment I find some free time, I'll join and try to remove the rust on my hands Peace and see`ya in game!

Hi! My name is Stephen, I'm 31, live in -at the moment sunny!- Scotland, and as some of you may have figured, I'm an old [ReV] member from 'back in the days'. I should say to begin, that I won't be the most active, as I work full time, and studying for a degree part time, and it's not fair to spend all free time away from my partner, but whenever I can, I will be online, helping out. I love this game, and want nothing more than to play it again My re-emergencee is somewhat prophetic, if not surreal. I had a strange dream, in which an old team mate of mine ( uC.Vlad - I don't know why this particular friend, the subconcious is a strange thing ) was reaching out to get a hold of me via a website. I tried GG.net, but soon realised that part of the BW community didn't exist, so ventured to TL.net, where after wrestling with many passwords, I log in to find a message from our dearest Incomplete. This message was from two years ago however, aligning with the release of SC:R, and was inviting me to come join him, continuining after our previous venture all those years ago, which I will speak of later if there is the demand. I replied back to Incomplete, but didn't hear anything for a few hours. Meanwhile, I had tried Battle.Net and was getting to grips with the 'new' system. After Incomplete was in touch, I finished my shift at work, rushed home and quickly got involved via Battle.Net & Discord, and now I'm here My history: So I played on and off since around 1999, but was active again from around 2003, mainly joining some teams around the UK. Over the next few years, I became more aware of the 'foreign' scene, and of e-sports in Korea through being around teams like (TE) & ToT ( two of the strongest teams of the time ) which inspired me to improve my game and be involved in creating a strong team myself. After another period of inactivity and floating around some European teams ( [CkG] & uT) ), I decided to start afresh ( around 2006 I think). I can't remember exactly how I met uC.Cr1stY ( now Cr1stY[ReV] ) & uC.Soko, but I eventually joined their team. Through my commitment to playing the game, I was online very often. This gave uC. a constant online presence on B.Net. Somewhat like Incomplete for .ReV, I managed to attract quite a few players to the team ( uC. ), and with building a website for the team, my commitment was honoured, and I was given a leading role in uC. After some relative success with uC. , things began to dwindle for whatever reason. I think it was a mixture of newer teams turning up on different servers & interest in other games, not to mention peoples personal lives can be busy. Anyway, we had a strong connection with .ReV, with many mutual friends and played many games together, as well as a friendly rivalry. In order for us uC. guys to stay together, and still compete at our high level, we brokered a deal with .ReV , where we would all join, take the tag, I changed the website to display .ReV tags but .ReV would take our higher positions in the various clan leagues. A move that suited both us at uC. , and strong upcoming players in .ReV, who wished to compete at a higher level. It was a very prosperous time for us all, but it was to be short-lived. Due to Incomplete's personal life, he had to take a back seat to the runnings of the team. Without getting too much into the detail of things, over the next months, the team slowly disbanded. I left .ReV, focused more on increasing my skill level, as well as continuing to improve the UK national team, which I led throughout my tenure in uC. & .ReV. Once SC2 beta was released, many players moved there and began to play different games, many players took up poker for some reason, and with a personal friend group which was gaming more on Xbox360, I decided to give up the game once and for all. I did occasionally check the various individual league websites, to see where my old friends were, and how they were doing, what rank they were etc, but that was the extent of my 'reaching out'. I did, and still think often of my old team mates/friends. There really is something about this game/community which brought people together, and I'm so glad to be back a part of it. It might not be the same as the olden days, but that's more a call to make it ours and help it evolve! Look forward to gaming and spending time with you all!

Hey! My name is Brandon I am 25 from Spokane, Washington. Currently living in Tuscany, Italy at the moment. I play Protoss and hover around 1300-1500 mmr. I used to play about 15 years ago and played for 6 years before switching to SC2, then stopped playing after 2 years on that. I haven't played in a long time and I wanted to put some time into something that I used to love, whenever I can get time to play.
A little bit about me. I am in hotel management for work, but I want to do stand up comedy for a living. That's my main passion in life, and I love getting on stage and writing jokes; Once I moved back to the USA I will be doing this most nights. I'm a classically French-style trained chef, but a bit out of practice. I'm a long-distance runner. I run over 100km a week; At least 2 half marathons a month. I am the biggest music fan that you'll ever know (Been to over 600) Concerts. I enjoy reading, hot yoga, disc golf, retro games, going to the gym, wine/beer tasting, photography and have been known to smoke the kush.

I already played like 10 games on my new ReV account so im a bit tired!
